Breville “Fast Slow Go” - Pressure Cooker

Method

Bring the pork shoulder to room temperature and drizzle with olive oil.

In a small bowl mix together the spices and dried herbs as well as salt and pepper.

Coat the meat with the spice mix, rubbing it all over.

Move the shoulder into the “Fast Slow Go”, first coating the bottom with a drizzle of olive oil, half the garlic and half the jalapenos

Pour the lime juice and remaining garlic and jalapenos over the shoulder.

Close the lid securely and as per instructions and set the “Fast Slow Go” on to “PRESSURE COOK” for 30 mins on “HIGH”.

After 30 minutes safely release the steam and check on the meat.

Remove the meat and reserve the juices in a bowl.

Turn the “Fast Slow Go” on “SEAR” on ”HIGH” whilst you cut and shred up the tender pork meat.

Return the shredded pork meat back to the “Fast Slow Go” , searing it for about 10 mins or until the meat starts to brown a bit. Add oil if if you think it needs a little help.

Using tongs move meat to a serving platter and drizzle all the reserved juices over the meat.

Be sure to turn off the “Fast Slow Go” and enjoy.
