Become a Club Sup host

At Club Sup we believe that connection is at the root of everything good. It’s why we facilitate events that bring people together — over supper, lunch, Pilates or book swaps. This community we’ve built is so special, and we’re now looking for new Club Sup hosts across Australia to help us spread our ethos of ‘taking connections offline’. As a Club Sup host, you’re creating the space for guests to lean in and foster relationships; you embody our philosophy while adding your personal touch to every event.

What are we looking for in a Club Sup host?

  • You thrive on getting to know and connecting with new people. You know what it is like to want and find your kind of people and how rewarding it is when you do. You are engaging and a good listener; you ask questions to keep the conversation flowing and can fill in any silent pauses. You don’t have to be the most outgoing person in the room, but you can read it and support those around you to come out of their shell.

  • We aren’t looking for overly curated aesthetic events but for people who understand that the atmosphere sets the tone for an event that feels safe and inviting for all our guests. Considering the Club’s aesthetic, we’d love you to share a mood board for your event vision.

  • Joining Club Sup as a host means committing to hosting between 4 – 6 events annually. We’re looking for long-term partners who are excited to grow our community, celebrate new milestones, and show up with enthusiasm.

  • To continue to get the word out there for your event, you know how to capture the evening for our social media accounts and website. This can be on iPhone or film camera (rolls and development is on us, of course!).

  • As a host, you know you are a facilitator of the events. You are there to support the conversations rather than get lost in them because, mentally, you’re already taking stock of people’s empty glasses or picking up on any nervous, silent pauses.

  • Club Sup is an extremely inclusive space. We do not vet our guests to create the right vibe, because the right vibe is just an openness and willingness to make a new friend through great conversation. There is so much to be learned from all types of people, and we ask our hosts to bring the same warm and open attitude to the table and beyond.

  • At Club Sup, we take the business we have built very seriously. The vibe, imagery, community and hosting tips have all been fine-tuned over the years by our founder Sophie. Becoming a host means you will be subject to signing and adhering to a non-disclosure agreement on all the systems, processes, tips, and tricks you learn.
